Building of architectural and artistic value
In 1984, Tak Sang On was classified by the Macau Cultural Heritage Department as a building of architectural and artistic value. To ensure that this century-old cultural relic continues to shine, the company invested in its renovation at the end of 2023, enlisting a father-and-son company specializing in the restoration of heritage monuments. Using historical data, the team reconstructed and reshaped the missing wall decorations, doors, and windows based on the remaining traces of the building. The construction period lasted for one year, and the restoration of Tak Sang On has now been completed, showcasing the superb craftsmanship of the artisans involved.
